Recipe Story
This is a recipe I make often for large group buffets as well as family suppers. Especially a favorite on Sunday evenings in the fall and winter. I’m sharing my recipes to help this cause in honor of my friend whose son suffers from CF.

- 3 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 can(s) red kidney beans
- 2 can(s) baked beans
- 1 can(s) tomato sauce
- 1/4 c chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp cumin
- Add All Ingredients
Directions
Brown ground beef, add onion and sauté until soft.

Simmer covered for about 1 hour or more.
Can be kept on low heat for a few hours or eaten as soon as it is cooked.
TIPS/NOTES
Freezes very well. Can be served over cooked pasta if desired.
