Tropical Breakfast Smoothie By: Dori F.
Recipe Story
My three-year-old, Brett, was born with cystic fibrosis. We are constantly looking for things to help him gain weight that he'll eat since, of course, he has to be a picky eater. When he began eating solid foods, I was having a hard time finding something that was high in calories that tasted good. I was wandering around the dairy aisle one day, and I passed the cream cheese display and noticed the pre-made cheesecake mix. I looked at the calories, 260 calories for 1/8 of the container, woo hoo! You can mix the cheesecake with any type of fruit/yogurt/chocolate syrup, and he'll eat it every time! It really was a lifesaver!
