Recipe Story

My 12-year-old granddaughter, Hayley, has CF. This is a quick and easy recipe that is loaded with fat and calories. It's a meal in itself.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sourdough French bread
  • 1 c mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 stick(s) butter
  • 2 c crab or shrimp (canned or fresh)
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp green onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Add All Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut loaf in half length-wise.

  2. Mix all ingredients together and spread on bread.

  3. Broil on low for about 15 min, or until bread bubbles and turns brown being careful not to burn.

  4. Slice and serve.
