Recipe Story
My daughter has CF and she was diagnosed at 10 weeks. She is now 28 and doing well. This recipe comes from family. It is the go-to for potluck, barbeques and any other get-togethers.
Ingredients
- 1 can(s) Van Camp's pork and beans
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 4 c Heinz ketchup
- Add All Ingredients
Directions
Slice bacon into 1/2 inch strips and brown in the bottom of large casserole. Do not drain off the fat.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Cover and cook for 2+ hours in the oven at 275 degrees.
Uncover at the end and continue cooking for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
