Recipe Story
This is one of the first dishes I have ever learned. My great grandma taught me when I was seven years old. One of my family members passed away from CF and my passion is to cook. I even have my own YouTube show :) I love to cook and everybody tells me that my food is great.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp whole milk
- 2 pieces Texas Toast
- 1 tsp no-calorie sweetener
- 3 strawberries
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 egg whites
- 2 basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp Tabasco sauce
- Add All Ingredients
Directions
Crack 2 eggs into a medium-sized bowl and quickly whisk.
Add vanilla extract, no-calorie sweetener, and 1 tablespoon milk to bowl, and quickly whisk.
Dip Texas Toast into mixture and place on hot pan with oil.
Cook toast on each side for 2-3 minutes.
Add two egg whites to separate hot pan and cook for one minute to make scrambled eggs.
Mix corn starch and remaining milk into scrambled egg whites.
Add basil leaves and Tabasco sauce to scrambled egg whites and serve alongside french toast.
Use strawberries as topper for french toast.
