Baked Beans on Toast with Cheese By: Casey M.
My girlfriend of many years has CF and has a lung transplant. This recipe is one of my favorite breakfast treats. When we traveled abroad, we got to try different variations of this recipe in other countries.
- 1 c baked beans
- 2 slices bread
- 1 c cheese
- Add All Ingredients
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
Heat up a serving of your favorite baked beans.
Grate or slice up as much or as little cheese as you’d like, divide in half.
Toast 1 or 2 slices of your preferred bread.
Spread out half of the cheese across the toast.
Pour the hot baked beans on the cheese and toast.
Top the beans with the remainder of the cheese.
