Hot Chicken Salad By: Scott W.
Recipe Story
This is the recipe from the grandmother of the person with CF in our family.
Ingredients
- 3 c cooked, diced chicken or turkey
- 2 c celery, chopped
- 1/3 c green pepper, chopped
- 3 Tbsp pimento
- 2 Tbsp minced onion
- 1 pkg cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1/2 c toasted almonds (optional)
- 1/3 c grated sharp cheese
- 3 c potato chips
- Add All Ingredients
Directions
Blend all ingredients but cheese and chips.
Turn into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
Sprinkle with chips and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
