Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies By: Ann R.
I am the mother of a CF adult who is 37 years old. He weighs 180 pounds and has been a good eater all his life, sometimes eating 10 of these oatmeal cookies at one time. His favorite after school snack was cookies and milk.
- 2 c sugar (can use half brown sugar)
- 1 c butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 c milk
- 2 c pastry flour
- 4 c oats
- 1/2 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1 tbsp warm water
- 2 tsp baking powder sifted with flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c raisins
- Add All Ingredients
- Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cream butter and sugar.
Mix rest of ingredients into the creamed butter and sugar.
Drop by tablespoons on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
