Asian Chicken Salad By: Ann R.
I am the mother of a 37-year-old CF adult who loves this hearty yet filling salad.
- 2 pkg cabbage slaw
- 1 c slivered almonds
- 8 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 fresh green onion, chopped
- 10 oz frozen green peas
- 4 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 1 bottle of Chinese chicken salad dressing
- Add All Ingredients
Toast almonds and sesame seeds separately in 350 degree oven for 7-8 minutes each (do not toast together).
In a large bowl, layer cabbage, almonds, sesame seeds, cilantro, green onions, frozen peas, and diced chicken.
When ready to serve, shake dressing and pour over the salad.
Mix well and serve immediately.
